Product Review:

Canon PIXMA MP600

This is a great printer.  I really love the look of it, the feel of it, and if I could eat it, Id probably like the taste of it too.  The design is sleek and showcases the cool extras that the printer has.  The price is fantastic for the quality, and the features are pretty cool too.

The print speed is a cool 30 ppm(pages per minute) for black and white, and 24 ppm for color.  The images are smooth and sharp.  The detail is fairly impressive, especially for a printer that’s less than 200 bucks.  The photo prints are really pretty nice as well.  There are two paper trays, one manual feed in the front, and an autofeed tray in the back.

The display on the front is is really handy, allowing you to see what your about to print, and to use the well thought out menu of options.  You can use wireless printing by employing the Irda(infrared) function.

The one sort of disappointing thing about this printer is the scan functionality.  It doesn’t take the best scans, plus it only takes an original of a max A4 size.  Realistically though, this printer is much more of a personal printer with tons of features.  For this purpose, this printer is an excellent value for the cost.

All in all, the Pixma MP600 is the next step in photo and document printing.  With its compact design, helpful and user-friendly features, and great performance, the only surprise I think you will be getting with this printer is its low price.
