Product Review:

Mitsubishi WD-65831

This TV has a decent price for her size, plus she sure is beautiful.  The 65 inch Mitsubishi WD-65831 is a monster of a TV with some pretty nice features.  It has picture quality that would impress any HD-tv junky, a remote that I personally really enjoy, and a ton of picture control and a super sleek design.

This is a DLP technology based TV, and you have that to thank for the price in comparison to the plasmas at the same size range To say that the WD-65831 is an HD-ready TV is an understatement.  It has several of each type of HD connections, including two HDMI connections.

You won’t have trouble seeing this screen either.  At 65 inches, the Mitsubishi WD-65831 is like your very own movie theater without sacrificing the picture quality.  I found the picture to be superb, with bright vivid colors and sharp edges.

The WD-65831 has a ton of connections for everything you can possibly contemplate plugging into an HD-ready TV.   As if that weren’t enough, it has several of a few of the different connection types to ensure that every video input is HD compatible.  It also has some handy connection types like card slots for reading memory cards.  I really like the idea, because then it’s easy to view pictures or check out video clips with very minimal effort.

The price is not the most attractive point, but we do have to take it in context and remember that we are dealing with a high quality 65 inch TV.  Just think of what you’d pay for a plasma television of the same size.  You’d probably end up forking out 6,000$ dollars, 7,000$ dollars, probably more??  As for me, I think I stick with half that price.  The Mitsubishi WD-65831 is a great buy if you’re looking for an enormous screen with great picture quality.
