Finding the right high-tech
product for you can be a daunting process, as TechSelector.com co-founder Mark found out a few years
ago when he decided to buy a PDA. He began his quest
by visiting several large electronics stores, where
he spoke with a number of salespeople and viewed dozens
of similar products. Without expert knowledge of the
hundreds of available products, Mark felt helpless to
understand the often subtle differences between products
or sort through the technical features on his own. Yet
the salespeople offered little real help-- each gave
a different sales pitch focused on selling his or her
store's preferred product brands rather than helping
Mark find the best product for him. Ultimately, he returned
home frustrated-and without a PDA. A search on the internet
followed, but once again he found himself struggling
to understand the technical jargon and found the decision
so overwhelming that he ultimately ended his search
without ever buying a PDA.
Mark's costly, frustrating, and
ultimately fruitless experience was the inspiration
for TechSelector.com, a site designed with the intent
of helping consumers research, select, and purchase
new high-tech products. Our mission is to provide consumers
with a free unbiased method of quickly and easily determining
which high-tech products best fit their individual needs.
