Subsoiler is a machine used for deep soil cultivation without damaging its top layer. The subsoilers of the U486 series loosen and aerate the soil to a depth of approx. 65 cm. Subsoiling breaks off the plow sole, thus restoring normal air-water relations in the soil. The surface and deep soil layers do not mix in this crop. The treatment should preferably be applied immediately after harvesting, when the soil is desiccated. No more tillage should be done in the subsoiled field too early to reduce soil re-compaction. Subsoiler can also be used for soil preparation before planting fruit trees, berry shrubs and deep rooted plants. The technical parameters of the structure correspond to European norms and standards in the field of operational safety and ergonomics, high efficiency was achieved using the most modern, computer-aided techniques, design and construction methods. The subsoiler is produced as a 3-tooth, 5-tooth, 7-tooth or 9-tooth machine with a tooth spacing of 45 cm. All subsoilers are equipped with a solid frame to which the tillage roller is mounted with depth adjustment made by a parallelogram. The subsoiler teeth are protected against damage by a shear bolt. In addition, the tines are equipped with replaceable coulters and a "mole", which performs additional loosening in deep soil layers. The effective working depth of the subsoiler of the U486 series is 65 cm in order to maintain the quality and efficiency of the subsoiler operation, the power requirement for one tooth is about 30 kW.

The MGP subsoiler is a tool that ensures deep loosening of the soil without disturbing its layered structure and eliminates the plow sole. Thanks to this machine, aeration and irrigation of the lower layers of soil is achieved, this operation is carried out every 3-4 years, especially in fields where water stands on the surface. MGP is a subsoiler with specially bent teeth ensuring better undercutting of the soil and finally better water circulation. The MGP machine is equipped with a mechanical coupling for aggregation with another device, e.g. a disc harrow or a seeding unit. MGPH has a hydraulic coupling.
